Some would argue that teachers are the backbone of society. They have a hand in molding and shaping our children into the grown-ups they eventually become. This interview introduces listeners to Teressa Lee, a teacher who has been in special education for over 30 years. Teressa has a strong faith, loves God and her “kids” (students). During our visit, she shares why she believes people go into teaching. She also references a special teacher who made a significant impact in her life during elementary school and the full circle moment she experienced as an adult with that teacher.
