Early in his career, he worked for some companies where he was able to learn on the job, according to John, he was “being paid to learn.” At the age of 31, he started his first company – Key Temporary Personnel
This business was highly successful and he grew it from just an idea. At one point he had twelve offices operating in five states He made a career helping others with their careers! It is estimated that collectively, these companies put over 100,000 people to work.
As a Native Tulsan, he values his community and supports numerous philanthropic organizations. He has been an active volunteer in many Tulsa organizations, including –
– Chairman of the Tulsa chapter of the American Heart Association
– Chairman of the Tulsa Chapter of Young President’s Organization
– Advisory Board Member at The University of Tulsa – College of Business
– Vice Chairman of Tulsa Parks and Recreation Board
