
Tia Baker has the perfect name for her current calling. She is baking up tasty treats that are mega healthy! Her gluten-free diet over the past 20 years has presented challenges in restaurants and in 2019 while on a family road-trip, she had an epiphany, why not create a delicious and healthy gluten-free and dairy-free option for people. In her quest to develop the perfect treat, she realized that she was including superfoods into her tasty creations. SO…not only are they delicious, they’re nutritious!
It took her many months of perfecting her recipes and she was doing this all while continuing her full-time teaching job. Her background is in education, but felt a calling to start baking. Her company is called Tia’s Superfood Brownies. So, you guessed it! She’s making brownies.
Wondering what a superfood is? According to the Cleveland Clinic, superfoods are foods that are very high in nutritional density. They contain a high volume of minerals, vitamins and antioxidants.
I had to visit with Tia because I love these brownies! I’m excited for you to learn about her journey and where she is now. During our visit, Tia shares why she left her teaching job to pursue the brownie business, what has been difficult and her forward-thinking mindset about the future of her business!
