In this episode
In this episode I'm wrapping up season six of the Sharing Passion and Purpose Podcast — and I can hardly believe how fast this semester flew by. Since my seasons follow my semesters as an instructor at Tulsa Community College, this feels like a natural moment to pause, reflect, and thank you for showing up week after week to connect, learn and grow alongside all the incredible people I've gotten to bring to you.
I'm also sharing details about something that's been on my heart for a long time: my very first live event, Conversations with Passion and Purpose. It's happening Friday, January 26, from 11:30 to 1:00 in the TomTom Room at the Vault Restaurant in Tulsa. I created this because so many of you have asked me about podcasting and, honestly, because I'm passionate about connecting people and encouraging them on their journeys. Networking has been a genuine game changer for me and my business, and I want to open that door for you too.
This gathering is for any woman ready to build her network — from seasoned professionals willing to mentor, to college students just getting started. Seating is intentionally limited so you can actually get to know a handful of people you can follow up with later. I'll be facilitating a Q&A with Dr. Meg Myers Morgan, author of "Everything Is Negotiable," and there are still tickets available. So grab yours and come join us — I'd love to see you there.
Key takeaways
- Season six is a wrap — my podcast seasons follow my semesters as an instructor at Tulsa Community College, and this one flew by.
- Conversations with Passion and Purpose is my first live event: Friday, January 26, 11:30 to 1:00, in the TomTom Room at the Vault Restaurant in Tulsa. It's a lunch.
- The event is for any woman looking to grow her network — from seasoned professionals open to mentoring to college students just starting out.
- Seating is intentionally limited so you can genuinely get to know a handful of people and follow up with them afterward.
- There's a discounted ticket for students and young professionals so cost isn't a barrier to showing up, networking, and possibly finding a mentor.
- Come ready to network — bring your QR code (many people keep it on their phone) and your business contact info.
- I'll facilitate a Q&A with Dr. Meg Myers Morgan on knowing your worth, self-limiting beliefs, asking for more, and choosing an executive career coach.
