Carol Mathews is many things to many people. For me, she is an encourager, connector AND a talented creative.

As the Founder and CEO of Hero Productions, she has an incredible talent for storytelling. That, coupled with her background in film has enabled her to produce multiple television series that have aired on ESPN, TBN, and The Family Channel.  When she’s not working on film projects, she is working with non-profits and private businesses to define their mission, vision, and values in order to increase their reach and efficiency while creating unity on their team.

During this visit, Carol shares more about her background, the thing that makes her passionate about what she’s doing – her superpower! – and how she has found fulfillment in a career supporting others!

You can connect with Carol online at: Hero Productions and on YouTube: The Real Hero Productions.

Carol’s Bio:

Carol Mathews has over 25 years of film and television experience with an emphasis on faith and family entertainment. Her first feature film, HOME
RUN, landed in nearly 400 theaters on April 19, 2013 and had the second highest per-screen average that weekend. Distributed all over the world,
HOME RUN continues to reach people with a message of hope on the subject of addiction and recovery.
Carol has also produced multiple television series that have aired on ESPN, TBN, and The Family Channel. She has produced educational home
entertainment for several titles of the international brand “for Dummies.” She has produced multiple, nationally-syndicated documentary titles, the
first being “Death & Beyond”, a film exploring the after effects of near-death encounters. She also originated and produced the Angel Award-winning
program, “Hymns”, which uncovers the remarkable stories behind beloved classics like Amazing Grace. Her consistently strong vision-casting and
team-building skills lead to a series of successful collaborations that have appeared on major faith-based networks including TBN’s top-rated show,
“360° Life.” When Carol is not producing film and video projects, she leverages her storytelling skills to assist businesses in telling their organizational story.
Since 1999, Carol has worked with dozens of non-profits and private businesses to define their mission, vision, and values in order to increase
their reach and efficiency while creating unity on their team. Most recently, Carol has been producing live events including the Oklahoma
Governor’s Prayer Breakfast, where she plans and produces the entire experience from videos to keynote speakers.
Carol is CEO of Hero Productions and serves as Producer on all of their projects. She and her music- producer-husband, Scott, have two sons,
Samuel and Gabriel and live in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
